Light after Dark

I had nothing to be afraid of. Or so I thought. I walked into the musty room, filled with spiderwebs and dust that would make your nose itch. I didn't see anything at first. I mean, it was pitch black, so it was basically impossible to walk. Actually, I should not say it was pitch black. There was a little beam of light coming  out of a window in the corner, but not enough to help me. Dust was coming down my throat, me inhaling whatever disgusting chemicals that had been released in that room. For a while, I walked around silently, not paying much attention to anything except all of the ancient looking furniture scattered around the room. And then it happened. A flash, and the room went dark. Another flash, the lights back on, but no more furniture. Nothing in  the room except a light switch and a bloody knife in the corner.
