Hello, my name is Michel Telfer. I am one of the goalies for St. Albans Bantam AA, #31. It has been a tough season to be comepletely honest. In games in state versus AA teams we are 1-8-0. Essex is the best team in the league, they only have one in state loss, and that was to us, the worst team in the league. We are all in our heads. We can with the state championship this year, we have proven we can with that win over Essex in January. This year is a weak year, I will own up to that. But that doesn't mean we just give up. Our first playoff game is in under forty eight hours. We play South Burlington it is a winnable hockey game, if we believe in ourselves. Then we play Essex, hardcore rivals always has been always will be. Then Burlington Sunday morning, if we go 2-1-0, we will be at Collins Perley for the state championship.

It's gameday, and we took the win over South Burlington 2-0. But we lost to Essex 3-1. Today is do or die if we win we'll be in the state championship, if we lose our season ends. South Burlington is eliminated, and Essex is already in the championship no matter what. It's between us and Burlington.

The puck drops and the game starts. The first period in back and forth, no quality chances for either team. The second starts scoreless. Burlington has been all over us so far, they keep applying pressure and I continue to make saves. We finally break the puck out, we go down the other way and score! When the puck drops at center ice, we win the faceoff, then go and burry a second one. The second period ends with us on top 2-0. The third period starts and is about to end before I know it. Neither team had a ton of quality chances and now there is a minute left and we're up 2-0. They come in on a break shoot and score. It is now 2-1 with forty five seconds left. We win the draw, and then control the puck down in their zone. The clock winds down to zero, and we win the hockey game.
